The booking window for the MRCS Part B ENT February 2025 exam is about to close soon. As per the update from the Royal College of Surgeons, the last date for getting the booking done is 5 Dec 2024. The Royal College of Surgeons decided to conduct the exam between 17th and 28th February 2025. Aspirants who are looking to get an exam location in Newcastle upon Tyne, United Kingdom can apply now. Interested candidates have to pay £1,099 to become eligible to sit for the exam.
MRCS Part B ENT February 2025 Exam: Overview
The MRCS Part B ENT OSCE is conducted by the Intercollegiate Committee for Basic Surgical Examinations (ICBSE) board. ICBSE works on behalf of the four surgical royal colleges of the United Kingdom and Ireland, and the examination is the same for all these colleges.
The MRCS (ENT) OSCE comprises up to 28 active bays, including several clinical bays where candidates will be required to examine actors. Currently held over two days, the ‘written stations’ are delivered via online remote examination on ‘day 1’ and the ‘clinical stations’ are delivered in person on ‘day 2’.
Are You Eligible?
To appear for MRCS Part B ENT, candidates must possess a recognized medical qualification. RCS strongly recommends being involved in acquiring professional knowledge and training for at least six months in a full-time or equivalent part-time position. In addition, candidates must have passed MRCS Part A to apply for the MRCS (ENT) OSCE exam. RCS suggests emailing all documents of eligibility to SurgicalEligibility@rcseng.ac.uk. RCS strictly suggests not to post any documents to offices.
