Structure of the MRCS Part A Exam

The Part A exam is the theoretical part in the MRCS pathway. It is a five-hour-long MCQ examination which consists of two papers taken on the same day. The AM paper (180 MCQs) is three hours and the PM paper (120 MCQs) is two hours in duration.

To take the MRCS Part A exam in Egypt, candidates must have completed their internship before booking the exam. In addition, they are required to submit official evidence of internship completion, translated into English, and send it via email along with their application.
